I’m platinum with Marriott so I travel quite a bit and usually get better rooms. I was on the 2nd floor on peach tree and I honestly thought the windows were all open. I could hear people talking like they were in my room. Trucks shook the building as they drove by. Beeping from cars backing up and the valet only 10ft away. The room was dark, worn and old. Staff was friendly but the overall hotel is just 1 star. I won’t be staying here agin. Definitely a disappointment.

On booking.com the reviews are overall very positive, and I got high ratings elsewhere. But I should’ve read TripAdvisor. We had an accessible room which was not a benefit when it came to the bathroom. It was the oldest and sketchiest part with chipped bathtub floors and old windows. So the nicest part of the bathroom was the sink. When we called to ask for it to be cleaned the front desk made it seem like there was nothing housekeeping could do. We were not happy with customer service. Also, we found hairs around the sink. When housekeeping came to clean they some left hair around the sink. The carpet needs to be replaced (lumpy). But, the bed was OK and manageable. So downstairs, the breakfast was just fine, valet very was efficient. *** for those not familiar with Midtown Atlanta please understand that the hotel can do nothing about the street noise as it’s city life. Overall, we would not return.

Very noisy and dated rooms

Staff is friendly and wonderful but rooms are horrible. Crazily noisy - HVAC was SO loud, and in addition noise from traffic outside (all night), guests in the hallway… could not sleep at all. Room was dated and there was toothpaste stain on the faucet when I checked in. I had stayed in many Marriott Residence Inn before. This is by far the worst. Will not return.

No hot water for entire two day stay

No hot water in my room sent an engineer he could not get hot water to work at all requested a different room moved me to the floor above still no hot water. Approx 2 months earlier I stayed two nights and had no cable or tv at all. Approx i month before that i stayed two nights and had a large dog barking all night both nights. Have experienced loud guest of local bar at closing every weekend. But the worse thing of all is the loud mufflers on the cars racing at night in front of and beside the hotel.

The hotel is very old and run down. Also, GPS won’t lead to the main entrance but around the corner. You’ll miss it if you’re driving. The elevator can only hold two people with luggage - max. The room i was in had the a/c vent pointing right headboard. Georgia temps were scorching so you had to keep the a/c on or you’d immediately start sweating in the room. It was not a pleasant stay because of this. Room temp never was comfortable. No self parking and $35 per night for valet parking. I won’t stay here again.
